The Dismissal

Glory to thee, O Christ
our God and our hope, glory
to thee.

May Christ our true God,
(insert the appointed characteristic phrase, on
Sundays, 'Who arose from the dead'
), through the intercessions of his most
pure Mother;
(and the rest)
of our father among the saints, Basil
the Great, Archbishop of Caesarea in Cappadocia;
(and of the
saint(s) whose temple it is and whose day it is);
of the holy and Righteous
Ancestors of God, Joachim and Anna; and of all the saints:
have mercy on us and save us, for He is good and the Lover
of mankind.

The cross is then venerated by the faithful who have not received the
Holy Mysteries, and the antidoron is distributed. Those who have
communed venerate the cross after the Thanksgiving prayers.
