And the priest passeth through the holy doors. And the people say:
People: May the Lord God remember thy priesthood in His Kingdom, now and ever, and
unto the ages of ages. Amen.
As the priest passeth through the holy doors the deacon says to him:
Deacon: May the Lord God remember thy
priesthood in His kingdom.
Priest: May the Lord God remember thy sacred
diaconate in His kingdom, always, now and ever,
and unto the ages of ages.
And the priest then placeth the holy chalice on the Holy Table and
taking the holy diskos from the head of the deacon, and placeth it
on the Holy Table saying:
Priest: The noble Joseph, having taken Thy most
pure Body down from the Tree and wrapped it in
pure linen and covered It with spices, laid It in a
new tomb.
In the grave bodily, but in Hades with Thy soul as
God; in Paradise with the thief, and on the throne
with the Father and the Spirit wast Thou Who fillest
all things, O Christ the Inexpressible. How life-
giving, how much more beautiful than Paradise and
truly more resplendent than any royal palace hath
